Physical talent alone is a poor indicator of success in youth sports. Traits including resiliency, focus, motivation, self-discipline, and coachability have a greater association with long-term enjoyment and excelling in athletics. We aim to create opportunities that are accessible to young student-athletes at all levels to learn about and invest in their long-term mental and physical health and sustain their love of the game.

Reflecting on our own experiences in organized youth and collegiate sports and while working with athletes at all levels over the past decade as healthcare professionals, we recognize the unprecedented pressure on kids to succeed and stand out. Our goal for this exciting event is to empower student-athletes to be champions in the classroom, at home, and during competition by encouraging and equipping them to do their best. We hope you will join us for our second event in 2025. Stay tuned for date announcement and further details.
